The Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa (photo) received Naval Colonel Mubarak Ali Al Sabah, Commander of the Combined Task Force (CTF152).
They reviewed the duties of the CTF152 in securing maritime navigation in the region as well as various topics of shared interest, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Also, present during the meeting were Naval Major-General Mohammed Hashem Al Sada the Director of Military Cooperation, and Commodore Mohammed Yousef Al Asam the Commander of Royal Bahraini Naval Force (RBNF).
Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa also received the outgoing Jordanian Military Liaison Officer Brigadier Ibrahim Hamdi Al-Majali who introduced to him the newly-appointed Military Liaison Officer Brigadier Hassan Mohammed Abdelrahim.
The meeting was attended by BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Jordanian officials, lauding the efforts made by Brigadier Ibrahim Hamdi Al-Majali and wishing him every success. He also wished success to the new Military Liaison Officer in performing the military duties assigned with him. He lauded solid fraternal relations between Bahrain and Jordan and the leaderships' keenness to further bolster them.
The meeting was attended by Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sadah.
